Welcome to our woodsy retreat! One of the many joys of staying at Shady Brook RV Resort is the amazing charity work in which guests are able to participate.

During the last weekend in January, we raised more than $700 for the 150 chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The DAV strives for “empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity” (DAV website).

Shady Brook sold 51 meals and 14 sandwiches to raise funds for the local group. Winners for our 50/50 raffle were Fred and Dixie Robins. Out of the prize money, they donated $46 back to the DAV.

On February 16, we held our annual Sloppy Joe Sandwich & Bake Sale to support the DAV. Grateful our guests enjoy giving back!
